Covid Restrictions

Dear students, Cumbria police visited Carlisle College on Friday to say they are stepping up patrols and will issue fines to students who break the new Covid restrictions.

New rules state that you can only meet one other person at a time from another household in outdoor public places and practicing social distancing.

If you head to the city on your lunch, you should be with no more than one other person and practicing social distancing. If you break this rule the police can issue fines of £200 in the first instance and a maximum of £6,400 for further offences.
