Mini Laptops

Mini Laptops can be taken out of the Learning Centre for a maximum of 7 days. All you need to do is ask your tutor to send the Learning Centre an email to lrc@carlisle.ac.uk with your name and student number and confirm that you are able to borrow one of our mini laptops.

Taking out a mini laptop is exactly the same as taking out a book. We scan your student card and the laptop and you’re good to go.

We do advise that you save all of your work onto a USB drive as the hard drives of the mini laptops wipe clean each time you shut down.
