The LRC will be supporting Christmas Jumper Day which is raising money for the Save the Children Charity. Staff and students can donate £1. This is a whole College event.

Please make your donations to the LRC.

Every student is issued with 300 credits at the start of the academic year. Students very rarely go over their free credits but if you should need more you can purchase them at the LRC desk at £3 for 150 credits.

Remember that…

•  You need your student card to release your printing.
•  Colour printing costs 5 credits per sheet.
•  Black & white costs 1 credit per sheet.
•  You can also photocopy from the machines in the LRC.
•  Always proof read. That spelling error could cost you credits!

The LRC is taking part in Road Safety Week. Pop up and see our information cube and what resources we have.

On Friday the LRC will be holding a 1 minute silence at 11am.

Please remember that you need your student card clearly displayed all times when you are in college. If you haven’t yet had your card please check at the LRC desk to see if it’s available. Replacement cards can be bought for £1

The LRC is a large open space that has over 50 student computers and 30 laptops available for use. We have approximately 10000 reading materials within a silent study area where you can sit and enjoy a book or work on a PC.

Our friendly staff can help you with anything you may need. We offer printing, laminating, stationery, password help, computer help and connection to the free wifi.
